TUESDAYS Prayers for the community at St John’s BC 9am then coffee, informal discussions, meet your friends. Little Fish Mother & Toddler Group meets 1.30pm to 3pm in the Methodist Hall, BC. More info from Linda Pritchard 01588 680652. Holy Communion for residents of Stonehouse (Coverage Care), usually fourth of the month at 3pm.
WEDNESDAYS Coffee & Fellowship 10-12 in Bishop’s Castle Methodist Church, with Prayer Time 11-11.30am. Weekly Act of Worship led by Anglicans and Methodists in Stonehouse (Coverage Care) BC 2.15-2.45pm. Rainbow Gang in the Methodist Hall BC – 6.30-8pm for Years R-6, 01588 680285 and in the Church Barn BC second and fourth Weds 7-9pm for Years -9; 01588 630018. 50p per session for all ages.
Healing Eucharist.
There will be a Healing Eucharist on Tuesday 15 July, at 7-30pm in St Johns, Bishops Castle. This will be a quiet reflective service, and an opportunity to come and pray for ourselves and others in need. Laying-on of hands will be available for those who would like it for themselves or on behalf of others.
MIDSUMMER OPEN GARDEN PARTY Many thanks to all who helped with or supported this event in Bishop’s Castle Midsummer Rejoicing weekend, especially Heather Willis for allowing us to come to the Mount, all stall holders, kitchen staff and others, and everyone who came. Despite very indifferent weather, we raised over £1000, a tremendous effort on the day. Full details are posted in the church porch.
